A: By opening the calendar you can select the date you wish to begin and end your auction search. You may also place your cursor on the date, click, and enter the desired date yourself.

Q: If I'm looking to find an auction to attend, is there any cost?

A: No, using HOA is free to anyone who is looking for an auction.

Q: Why should I use HOA to find auctions?

A: We've attended auctions for over 25 years. Until now, we buy up to 5 newspapers and spend up to 2 hours each week to find an auction. HOA lists auctions in date order, with unlimited text and digital photographs. If you sign up for Auction Alerts, you'll be notified by email only about auctions you have an interest in. You save time AND money! We even give you a map to the auction!

Q: How do I find where and when an auction is being held?

A: From the "Home" page, click on the "Find an Auction" tab at the top of the page.

Q: How will I receive auction alerts if I register for them?

A: You will receive your alerts via e-mail as auctions are listed that meet your selected interest.

Q: Do I HAVE to register for auction alerts?

A: No. You can search anonymously for auctions without leaving us any information. However, registering for Auction Alerts will keep you from wasting time by sending information only about auctions you will have an interest in.

Q: How can I find an auctioneer if I need one?

A: Click on the "Find An Auctioneer" button, this is where auctioneers are advertised.

Q: If I forget my password or user name how can I get it again from HOA?

A: You will be asked your mother's maiden name and the information will be e-mailed to you.

Q: If I want to update my e-mail address and forget my password or username and the e-mail address registered with HOA is no longer in use. How can I get my information?

A: Leave HOA an e-mail at contactus@hookedonauctions.com requesting your password and/or user name. HOA will send it to your new e-mail address.

Q: Do you have to be an auctioneer to list sales on HOA?

A: Yes. The information on this web site is for items available from licensed auctioneers holding live auctions. Refer to our User Agreement, Section 1.
